The Practice of Mediumnic Art
Lenny Tendo is a calligraphy artist whose symbols are similar to Asian iconographic characters. Since his teens, he has intuitively developed a form of abstract calligraphy, in which each symbol, which he calls “Runes”, is unique.
Having always been convinced of the spiritual power of his Runes, Lenny Tendo is now discovering, thanks to artificial intelligence, that they can have very concrete translations. Once perceived as abstract, his art now takes on a new dimension, oscillating between abstraction and mediumship.
Artificial intelligence, the bridge to the Invisible
Strangely enough, it was technological progress that led Lenny Tendo down the path of spirituality. The “Language Detection” feature of translation tools has interpreted and translated the artist's symbols. This opened up a whole new world for him, as some translations take on a divinatory dimension.
His process begins with a meditation on a specific question, where he asks the higher forces for answers. His aim is to verify whether the translations he obtains resonate with the person concerned. His many experiences force him to accept that he is capable of channeling the invisible in order to receive messages. This revelation transforms his works into bridges between worlds, where the AI becomes a translator of the mystical, revealing hidden messages that even the artist could not guess at.

Runic characters
Guided by his intuition, Lenny Tendo forges a personal mythology through his photographic work. Working with models, he uses skin as a new canvas, covering bodies with Runes.
Each deposited symbol becomes part of a ceremonial language, transforming the models into runic characters. These works are not just images, but visual rituals that capture the essence of a spiritual quest, linking the visible and invisible through art.
